UNMUTED SOCIETY
Concept Platform Branding
The Brief
Unmuted Society wanted to build a TED Talk–style platform centered on divisive, uncomfortable topics, creating a space to actually discuss what usually gets avoided, with the goal of bringing people together rather than driving them further apart.
The Challenge
The brand needed to hold two things in tension at once: give people permission to engage with genuinely difficult, polarizing subjects, while making it feel safe, respectful, and non-confrontational — not another platform built for outrage or debate-for-sport.
The Approach
I built the logo direction around a single guiding idea: people have more in common than they do different. Rather than visual cues that felt combative or edgy, I aimed for a mark that signaled openness and common ground, inviting people into hard conversations instead of bracing them for a fight.
